Sent to us from Turin by Federico Pozuelo(Madrid, 1992). His practice as a visual artist and filmmaker constructs historical events and explores the aestheticisation of political violence through theatricalisation, technical tradition, and the language of moving images.

Made by using the technique of lithophany, the embossed image on his flag appears under specific conditions when light passes through its surface.

What, after all, is a flag ? Artists raising their flags on this rooftop are answering this question in their own way. Each featured guest chooses the following artist, creating a chain that travels the world.

Federico was invited to take part in this project by Nolwenn Salaün and will conclude this chain by inviting the last two artists to unveil their flags next month.
